Don't miss out on all the action and the opportunity to help a worthy cause. The 2008 season is right around the corner and we could use a lot of helping hands to make each event a success. If you've got the time, we can supply the excitement. If you're an athlete, how about taking a break one weekend and helping out at a race, or get a few friends of the family involved while they cheer you on to the finish line.

If you are interested in Volunteering for the US Women's Triathlon Federal Way, please call the City of Federal Way Volunteer & Neighborhood Programs (VNP) at 253-835-2652 or email vnp@cityoffederalway.com. (volunteer printable form) Come on your own or bring a group (friends, family, co-workers, club). We will find a job where you can all work together. Groups qualify for special incentives.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to assist in
one or more of the following areas:

• Event registration and race packet distribution
• Course marshal.…guiding athletes on the course
• Split-timing…calling out the time on the course
• Finish line…directing athletes and assisting the timing company
• Water stations…a whole lot of mixing (sports drink), pouring and handing out cups
• Hospitality…distributing product samples
• Assisting with cleanup and tear down of equipment

CAPRI volunteers are entitled to the following benefits:

• A great T-shirt (100% heavy weight cotton) commemorating the event.
• FREE food & drink…just like the athletes get.
• The good feeling one gets when helping a worthy cause…
